Capri Group Shanghai Office
2021
The new project for Capri, a renowned luxury group, is situated in Shanghai’s Xingye Taikoohui complex. Comprising two class-A office buildings, luxury hotels, a service apartment, and a high-end shopping centre, this complex is emerging as a landmark in the Puxi district. With a focus on accommodating Versace and Jimmy Choo, two luxury brands under Capri, our design aims to capture the group’s cultural heritage and brand essence across 2350 square meters.
The reception area becomes the central hub, directly accessible from the lift lobby, with the working spaces arranged around. Versace and Jimmy Choo separated areas flank the reception, offering independent office environments but shared facilities. A circular layout ensures that internal management needs are met while providing flexibility and efficiency. The design prioritizes cleanliness and delicacy.
The design integrates luxurious elements like white marble and brass metal to create an elegant atmosphere. Public areas, including conference rooms and pantries, extend the lobby’s design language, emphasizing simplicity and cleanliness while embodying the brands’ luxury DNA. Movable partitions between the pantry and meeting rooms enhance flexibility, allowing for comfortable gatherings in a 60-square-meter space.
Versace’s unique style, characterized by luxury and artistic flair, is evident in the lobby’s iconic Medusa logo and subtle fabric accents. The open office area maximizes natural light and incorporates Versace’s symbolic patterns, reflecting the brand’s spirit. Similarly, Jimmy Choo’s office transmits confidence and elegance, with sleek black, white, and grey tones complemented by sophisticated design elements and ample natural light. Through meticulous design choices and thoughtful integration of brand elements, the offices reflect the distinct personalities of Versace and Jimmy Choo while maintaining a cohesive and elegant aesthetic.
