Tricon is a world-renowned energy trading and logistics company, that has been expanding in China for more than ten years. Their main product is petroleum derivatives. We determined the style and layout of the new office after in-depth discussions with Tricon.

The proposed main design concept comes from the derivative processing of petroleum. During the design process, some basic petrochemical knowledge and office design were combined by our team in particular ways. The most attractive background wall of the reception uses a bumpy and dense way to assemble the aluminium alloy bar into a dynamic gradient process from “dark grey” to “light grey” to “white”. Besides, the electro-optic glasses in the reception area and the main meeting room accentuate the lobby depth. The Pujiang scenery and the flourishes of Lujiazui are connected with the interior space seamlessly.

Warm grey and white are the main tones of the office design. The use of blue-grey carpets, wall covering materials and grey cement boards reflect the exquisiteness of the overall space, whilst providing a very comfortable working environment for the employees. We created different lighting treatments for each space, to ensure that employees and clients could get the best experience.
